KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Prepare a rod, reel, sabiki rig, weight or feeder, bait, scissors, pliers, a rigid case for used hooks and line, and approved safety equipment suited to the location. Check footing, weather and local rules before leaving.
Do not pull out every hook at once. On stable ground, connect and unfold the rig gradually from the top. When finished, cover exposed points and take used hooks, line and litter home in a rigid container.
Dawn or dusk alone cannot guarantee a result. Combine tides, weather, water conditions, footing, crowd levels and local information, and choose a time and place that remain within your limits.
FROM CITY TO WATER
Think about temperature shifts, wind, sun and freedom of movement, then layer T-shirts, long-sleeve rash guards, caps and hoodies accordingly. Confirm materials, sizing and stock or made-to-order status on each product page.
